Best UAV paper award at IEEE ICRA 2021 Finalist

I am truly honored that a paper from my group has been awarded to be in the top three finalist papers competing for the Best UAV paper award at IEEE ICRA 2021!
An amazing result considering that this year ICRA had more than 4000 submissions and 2000 papers accepted, a huge number!

Honored also to represent Europe in aerial robotics in the finalist pool that included two other papers from top international labs such as the GRASP lab at UPenn and the Seoul National University.

A huge thanks goes to the main author of the work Martin Jacquet, to all the people that contributed to this result in my team, in particular to Davide Bicego and Gianluca Corsini, among others, and also to the reviewers and editors of the conference and of RA-L for having nominated our work.

Here the paper details:
M. Jacquet and A. Franchi,
"Motor and Perception Constrained NMPC for Torque-Controlled Generic Aerial Vehicles,"
in IEEE Robotics and Automation Letters, vol. 6, no. 2, pp. 518-525, April 2021,
doi: 10.1109/LRA.2020.3045654.
