Actanthrope

Computational Foundations of Anthropomorphic Action.

Actanthrope is the European Research Council grant that was awarded to Jean-Paul Laumond in 2014 for his work in motion generation for anthropomorphic systems. This project targeted contributions to humanoid robot autonomy (for rescue and service robotics), to advanced human body simulation (for applications in ergonomics), and to a new theory of embodied intelligence (by promoting a motion-based semiotics of the human action).
