Brief biography
Dimitri was born in Leningrad, USSR, in March 2nd, 1974.
He received the "Diplôme d'Ingénieur" (Engineers' degree) from Ecole Centrale de Lille, France, in September 1997 and the "Diplôme d'Etudes Approfondies" (Masters' Degree) from University of Science and Technology of Lille, France, that same year. From October 1997 to July 2000 he was a Ph.D. student at Laboratory for Analysis and Architecture of Systems (LAAS) research center of the National Center for Scientific Research (CNRS) in Toulouse, France. He received the "Diplôme de Doctorat" (Ph.D. degree) from the Paul Sabatier University, Toulouse, France, in July 2000 and the "Habilitation à Diriger des Recherches" (French Habilitation) degree from that same university in December 2014.
Since October 2001 he is CNRS Researcher and starting from October 2015 he is senior Researcher.

Research interestsHis research interests are in robust control, and extend to convex optimization over linear matrix inequalities (LMIs), periodic systems, time-delay systems and direct adaptive control. He is also involved in computer-aided control design activities and leads a project for control-oriented software development. He is the main contributor to the Robust Multiobjective Control (RoMulOC) Toolbox. He has been involved in several industrial projects with aerospace partners for launcher, aircraft, and satellite robust control. Models Linear Time Invariant (LTI) systems in state-space and polynomial representations; Affine and rational dependency of the models with respect to uncertainties; Linear Fractional Transform (LFT) modelling; Polytopic and dissipative (ellispoidal) uncertainty domains; Positive real / Norm bounded uncertainties; Time-delay systems; Periodic systems; Positive systems; Descriptor systems; Linear systems with saturations. Performances Stability, Robust stability, Quadratic stability; Pole location, Robust D-stability; Hinfinity norm, L2 gain, robust Hinfinity performance; H2 norm, impusle to norm, robust H2 performance; Impulse to peak performance, regions of attraction. Control laws State-feedback; Full order, fixed order dynamic output feedback; Static output feedback; Ellipsoidal sets of controllers; Multi-performance, simultaneous performance design; Fragility, Resilience; Passivity-based adaptive control, Simple adaptive control; Discrete-time periodic control. Theoretical framework Lyapunov theory; Topological separation, Integral Quadratic Separation (IQS), Integral Qaudratic Constraints (IQCs); mu-analysis; KYP-lemma; S-procedure; Passivity. Numerical methods Semi Definite Programming (SDP); Linear Matrix Inequalities (LMIs); Algorithms for bilinear (non linear) matrix inequalities. Applications
