Biography
I am currently a CNRS postdoctoral researcher at the Laboratory for Analysis and Architecture of Systems (LAAS) in Toulouse, France, architecting standard and interoperable machine-to-machine communications.
Between 2014 and 2015 I have been postdoctoral researcher at University of California Berkeley, USA, contributing in modeling scalable IoT networks within the developing team of the OpenWSN project.
I got a PhD in Information and Communication Technologies (2013) by Scuola Interpolitenica di Dottorato, Italy. I got my MSc in Telecommunications Engineering (2007), and my BSc in Computer Systems Engineering (2004) from Politecnico di Bari, Italy.
My main research topics include designing of power-efficient protocols for Internet of Things (IoT) environments and statistical modeling for communication networks.
I am an active member of the IETF 6TiSCH WG, contributing to the standardization effort for IPv6-enabled TSCH-based networks.
I also serve has reviewer for many journals and conferences.
