Exchange Student

Hello,

I am the international coordinator in charge of analyzing application forms, validating your learning agreements for the pre-specialization called materials devices and systems engineering (IMACS).

The official web site describing in English this pre-specialization materials devices and systems engineering (IMACS) is available on this page!

You can find here the description of courses provided during the 2nd and 3rd year of this pre-specialization.

IMPORTANT: Before choosing your courses, you must take into account that the curriculum of INSA is different from the US/Canadian systems: the courses that take place during the autumn semester won’t be repeated during spring semester. So, you have to chose your scientific courses in one department of studies and only one year of studies: for instance, only scientific courses in 2nd year materials devices and systems engineering. Some exchange students tend to take their courses in many departments of INSA and also in different years of studies within the 5-year curriculum of INSA Toulouse. It may be the way they build their syllabus in their home institution but it is not authorized at INSA Toulouse and it would lead to creating time-tables with time conflicts impossible to solve.

Note the humanities courses do not appear on these tables. These courses require specific french langage background, so they will be proposed once you will be at Toulouse.
