Bureau d'Études Télécommunications

Group:
3 MIC

The goal of this laboratory is to apply on the same project the theoretic knowledges studied in different courses.

During this laboratory the students will design a complete electronic system for optical data digital transmission. During the Design of Telecommunication systems I, the students will realise the emitter. The receiver will be realised later in the Design of Telecommunication systems II.

VHDL et Circuits Numériques Programmables

Group:
4 AE

The objective of this course is to give an expertise of design and verification of digital systems. The students will learn the VHDL language and they will use the FPGA Xilinx Spartan 6 to realize an industrial–like project.

System on Programmable Chip VHDL and FPGA

Group:
4 GSI

The objective of this course is to give an expertise of design and verification of digital systems. The students will learn the VHDL language and they will use the FPGA Xilinx Spartan II to realize an industrial–like project. Lectures are given in english.

Architectures matérielles pour systèmes informatiques

Group:
4 I

The goal of this course is to realise a complete computer–like system and explain to the students the interaction between the software and hardware world. The course will present the complex computer systems architectures and the hardware description languages (VHDL) used to develop today such digital systems.

Projet Systèmes Informatiques : du compilateur vers le microprocesseur

Group:
4 I

Development of a compiler with LEX and YACC, design of a RISC 5 stage pipeline microprocessor

Bureau d'Études Télécommunications : Ethernet

Group:
4 RT

The goal of this laboratory is to show the interactions between the physiacl telecommunication world and the network world using two exemples: the implementation of a RTTY transmission and a MAC layer of an Ethernet controler.

Réseaux mobiles - Mobile Networks

Group:
4 RT

To present the essential characteristics and parameters of the principal current radiocommunication system and mobile networks.

This course study the mobile radiocommunication systems. The radio channel defaults, the deployment and configuration techniques of the mobile cellular network are presented. The architecture of the GSM network is studied. The GSM radiocommunication interface is discused and analyzed. The GPRS, EDGE and 3rd generation wireless systems (UMTS) are presented.
