Research Experience
CNRS-LAAS,
Toulouse, France. In "Silicon Microstructures and Integrated Microsystems" group directed by Pr. Augustin Martinez.
Advisor : Dr. Gabriel Blasquez
Theme : Feasibility of a miniature silicon capacitive pressure sensor composed by a silicon/Pyrex capacitive microcell and a self-compensated BiCMOS integrated circuit (see abstract attached). (September 1994 - present).
Microtechnology : - Design and development of capacitive pressure sensing cells,
- Research on low pressure thermoelectric bonding between Pyrex and silicon.
Microelectronic : - Conception and characterisation of the integrated circuit.
Modelling : - Development and simulations of electrical and behavioural model of the
pressure sensor (sensing cell + integrated circuit).
Instrumentation : - Designing and perfecting of a semi-automatic specific characterization
equipment (pressure between 1 mbar and 20 bars, temperature between
–40° C and +180° C).
Teaching Experience
University of Science and Technologies, Department of Physic-Chemistry
Toulouse, France.(September 1994 – present) (432 h).
First two years of a B. Sc. in electricity and electronic functions (DEUG in France) ; Teaching Assistant. Helped write problem sets and exams. Assisted students with home-work problems or material they found difficult to understand (September 1994 - June 1998).
M. Sc. In Electronic. Head Teaching Assistant. Prepared teaching materials including problem sets and exams in A/D circuit simulation (PSPICE). Supervised other teaching assistants timetable (September 1997 - June 1998).
Post-graduate diploma in Conception of Microelectronic Circuits and Microsystems. Supervised and instructed students in white-room microelectronic techniques (March - April 1998).
