Frédéric LERASLE's Home Page
Welcome on my professional web page.

I am a professor at Paul Sabatier University and in the "Robotics, Action and Perception" (RAP) research group at LAAS-CNRS in Toulouse. This web site summarizes my research and teaching activities, listes my main publications and details some thesis/master subjects.

My current research at LAAS-CNRS concern the fields of vision for robotics and videosurveillance, more particularly: video analysis, visual detection, people recognition, machine learning, 3D perception, data fusion, robot navigation, human gestures and activities interpretation, human-robot interaction. In january 2008, I defended my HDR entitled "perception pour la robotique mobile en environnement humain".

The courses I teach at Paul Sabatier University concern image acquisition and processing, industrial vision and 3D perception. I am also responsible for the Robotics specialization track in the UPSSITECH Engineering School.
