Biography
Christophe Louembet was born in La Tronche next to Grenoble in the Rhône-Alpes region in 1980.

He received the "Diplôme d'Ingénieur" (Engineer's Degree) from Ecole Supérieure des Techniques Aéronautiques et de la Construction Automobile (ESTACA, Aeronautical and Automotive School of Ingeneering) in Levallois next to Paris and the "Diplôme d'Etudes Approfondies" (Masters' Degree) with specialization in control from the Université Technologique de Compiègne (UTC, Compiegne Technology University) in 2004. He received the Ph.D. degree in Automatic from the University of Bordeaux in IMS laboratory in September 2007.

Since September 2008, he is holding an associate professor position at the "Paul Sabatier" University in Toulouse. He is simultaneously a researcher in the research group MAC (Methods and Algorithms in Control) at Laboratoire d'Analyse et d'Architecture des Systèmes (LAAS, Laboratory of Analysis and Architecture of Systems) of Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique (CNRS, National Center for Scientific Research) in Toulouse.

Research Interests

-Trajectory mission design for space vehicles (OACS of observation satellites, Rendezvous).
-Optimal and robust motion planning by convex optimization
-Positive piecewise polynomial generation

-Active member of CNES Technical Competence Centres SCA (Attitude on Orbit Control) and ORB (Flight Mechanics)
